In an April 2014 Natural Standards article, Joe found it news worthy that according to a new study it is possible that Green Tea may benefit cognitive functioning, particularly working memory. This is a result of the higher levels of antioxidant compounds.
The authors concluded that the benefits of green tea extract on mental function and memory may play an important role in potential treatment options for people with mental disorders or memory loss. Further research is warranted.
