Green Tea and Abdominal Fat

Obesity is a major health program across the world. Many foods/ingredients are advocated for their effects on body composition but few have consistent scientific support for their efficacy. In this study, moderately overweight Chinese subjects consumed 2 servings of either a low, medium or high concentration of Catechins/green tea. Total body intra-abdominal fat was reduced in consuming two high dose catechins which was 886mg and 198 mg of caffeine per day for 90 days.
