Joe has always discussed the importance of Vitamin D intake as well as having blood levels done as well. A recent study has shown that increased serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D is associated with a decrease by 4% in cardiovascular disease, 11% in respiratory disease and 11% in fractures. “Lowest mortality rates were observed in individuals with serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentrations above 90 nmol/L. ”
