During the summer months, Joe is taking a break from doing the Livestreams.  I am picking a few of the past ones to revisit here on the Blog.  Here is the one on Headaches that was most helpful and informative to so many.  Enjoy.

In this Livestream Joe talks about Headaches and Migraines.  He speaks of the triggers causing increased catecholamine production which increases serotonins causing platelets to become sticky and vessels constrict.  This lack of blood flow then triggers a headache and/or migraine.  He describes the difference between vascular and non vascular headaches.  “Knowing what is at the root of a headache helps us to help you to treat it” says Joe in this video.  He also states “Using meds to prevent a headache may work but comes at the price of many side effects.  Also, Tryptans, Pain Meds and even over the counter meds all can lead to rebound headaches and then you are stuck in a viscous cycle”.  This is why he recommends natural remedies that do not cause the rebound effect that the above treatments do.
