Eleven years ago today, terrorists attacked America. These heinous acts of terrorism took almost 3,000 American lives, but they tried to take even more from us – our peace and sense of security. In the midst of horror, Americans united to support one another across the nation.

My hope is that we, as Americans, take a minute to reflect on what happened to our nation that day. Take a minute and pray for the families that still suffer from their loss that day, and for the families who have lost someone while serving and protecting our nation.

Today, I pray for the families of victims, survivors, and the men and women that helped and even sacrificed their lives that day. I know that as time has passed, our nation has started to heal, but I hope that our nation does not forget.
