Dietary Supplement
Our Standardized Saw Palmetto Extract is made under strict European quality standards which are comparable to Over-The-Counter drug standards in the U.S. It provides optimal levels of naturally occurring fatty acids and sterols.
Benefits:
• Saw Palmetto Berry Extract is used to support a healthy prostate.*
• In a review of 18 clinical studies including over 7,000 patients using European Standardized Saw Palmetto extract, 16 were found to have positive results for patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
• The USP monograph for Saw Palmetto under “Clinical trial preparations” states “Liposterolic Extract (LESP)— 160 mg orally twice daily or 320 mg once daily of a liposterolic extract (LESP) prepared with either n -hexane, 90% ethanol w/w, or by supercritical fluid extraction with CO 2 and standardized to 70 to 95% free fatty acids has been studied for symptomatic treatment of urinary complications of BPH. This results in an extract of about a 10:1 concentrate compared to the original dried fruit, which corresponds to about 3 grams of dried fruits daily. These oily extracts are, in most cases, directly encapsulated into soft gelatin capsules without any additional auxiliaries.” Ours follows this method using the CO 2 extraction process.
