In a recent study, a vitamin D deficiency was linked to an increase chance of Alzheimer’s and dementia. The results of the study proved that people with a deficiency in vitamin D (25(OH)D level < 50 nmol/L), they were at an increase of Alzheimer’s and dementia by 21% compared to the others.
