A recent study was done analyzing data with regard to sitting and heart disease. “The data revealed that each hour of sedentary time per day on average associated with a 14% increase in coronary artery calcification (CAC) burden – a measure of the amount of plaque in the coronary arteries. ” While not all of us can change this type of lifestyle, increase in exercise, healthy lifestyle and supplementation can help.
